1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PDFPulse (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

PDFPulse provides a suite of online tools for PDF manipulation, including but not limited to editing, converting, merging, splitting, compressing, e-signing, and securing PDF documents. The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. No user account is required to use the core services.

3. User Conduct

You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the Service. You agree not to upload or process any files that:

• Infringe upon any third party's copyright, patent, trademark, trade secret, or other proprietary rights or rights of publicity or privacy.
• Are defamatory, libelous, threatening, harassing, or abusive.
• Contain viruses, Trojan horses, worms, time bombs, cancelbots, or other similar harmful or deleterious programming routines.
• Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law.

You are solely responsible for the content of the files you upload and process through the Service.

4. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding content provided by users), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of PDFPulse and its licensors. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent of PDFPulse.

5. File Processing and Storage

PDFPulse processes files uploaded by users. Files are uploaded via secure connections (HTTPS). We temporarily store files on our secure servers only for the duration necessary to perform the requested operation. Files are automatically deleted from our systems within 24 hours of upload or task completion, whichever is sooner. While we take measures to secure these files during processing, you acknowledge that you are solely responsible for backing up your original files. We are not responsible for any loss or corruption of data beyond the temporary processing period.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall PDFPulse, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the Service; (iii) any content obtained from the Service; and (iv) unauthorized access, use or alteration of your transmissions or content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence) or any other legal theory, whether or not we have been informed of the possibility of such damage. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will not exceed the amount, if any, you paid to use the Service.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide reasonable notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.
